Most employees will comply with the directions of management. Yet, there will be times when an employee fails to do so.
How to deal with an employee withholding a form they do not want to sign. Procedures to follow.
There are many different ways to deal with an employee who doesn't want to sign a form.
- Communication is the first step.
- Maybe they simply don't understand why they need to sign it, or don't know the implications if they don't.
- The first step is explaining the work place policy, and why it is important that they sign the form.
- If after explaining this to them, they still refuse to sign the form you will need to consider disciplinary action. At this point, management needs to be firm.
