American Independence Day Celebration

The Purpose of American Independence Day Celebration and How it Can be Applied to the Workplace

Most people refer to Independence Day as the 4th of July and it is a celebration that is engrained in the minds of every American from the time they are children. Everyone knows it is a federal and national holiday, but have you ever stopped to think about why there are so many celebrations? The main purpose people celebrate the 4th of July is because of all the excitement, parties, fireworks, and the many costumes, but the it stems from the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

Work American Independence Day celebrations into the workplace. Let's face, if America was not a free country, then those working in various companies, may not be able to afford the many luxuries that Americans can. Therefore, you can have an Independence Day celebration at your workplace by allowing people to dress in patriotic clothing, offering clothing such as t-shirts that commemorate the holiday.

Many companies are surprised at how motivating an Independence Day celebration is at their workplace, but it tells your employees that you are proud to be an American and that you understand what the 4th of July means.
